Use Arrow Keys or WASD to move your ninja left and right. Press Up, W, or Space to jump. You can double-jump by pressing the jump key a second time while airborne — this is essential for reaching higher platforms and clearing wide gaps in later levels.
Press Z to attack with your katana. A single press delivers a quick slash, but holding a directional key while attacking produces a directional strike. Chaining three attacks in quick succession triggers a combo finisher that deals bonus damage and can stun groups of enemies.
Hold Down to duck beneath projectiles or slide through narrow passages. Sliding while moving gives you a brief speed boost and lets you pass under barriers that would otherwise block your path. Many secret areas are only accessible through a well-timed slide.
Glowing orbs scattered throughout each level restore health or temporarily boost your attack speed. Gold coins contribute to your end-of-level score multiplier. Look out for the rare red scroll — collecting it unlocks a devastating special attack that clears every enemy on screen.
Every fifth level ends with a unique boss encounter. Study the boss's attack pattern in the first phase before committing to your assault. Most bosses have a brief vulnerability window after each attack — time your strikes for maximum damage and avoid their charged attacks by jumping or sliding.
Hitting three enemies consecutively without taking damage activates a score multiplier. Keeping your combo alive through an entire level can triple your final score and unlock hidden bonus stages.
Super Ninja Adventure rewards curiosity. Hidden platforms above the main path, breakable walls, and false floors all conceal bonus items, extra lives, and lore scrolls that reveal the game's story.
Each level has a time limit. Running out doesn't end the game but it costs you precious health. Efficient routing and avoiding unnecessary fights will keep your timer — and your health bar — healthy throughout.
Tapping the attack button the instant an enemy strikes executes a parry that reflects the damage back at them. It requires precise timing but becomes invaluable against the faster enemies in world three and beyond.
Every enemy type has a distinct behaviour loop. Samurai guards wait and counter-attack; archers lead their shots; shadow clones mirror your movement. Recognising these patterns is the key to clearing stages without taking damage.
Once you know a level well, experiment with skipping optional enemy rooms entirely. A clean, fast route through the main path often scores better than grinding every fight, especially in time-bonus-heavy stages.
